Raider Cabin – Saltbox Style Tribute to the Warrior Spirit
Perched quietly among the trees, Raider Cabin honors the elite legacy of the United States Marine Corps Raiders—warriors forged in discipline, brotherhood, and unyielding resolve. This saltbox-style structure stands not only as a cabin but as a personal tribute to the heritage, sacrifice, and resilience that shaped the foundation of Base Camp Alpha.
Set for completion in the 2025 season, Raider Cabin features the same distinct exterior design as its sister cabins—black siding with natural wood accents that echo both strength and simplicity. The interior, currently undergoing its final phases of construction, will reflect the same level of craftsmanship and detail, blending rustic warmth with minimalist comfort.
The campsite surrounding Raider Cabin will include hand-built features that tie directly to the land, including a fire pit formed from native Ohio stone and clay, and a pollinator garden planted with care to sustain local wildlife. Each element is a quiet nod to the enduring spirit of service and stewardship.
Raider Cabin is more than a place to rest—it’s a sanctuary for warriors, a symbol of pride, and a reminder that the mission of healing and camaraderie continues long after the battlefield.
