Base Camp Alpha – Weekend Retreats for Veterans & First Responders
“Where Veterans Come Home to the Wild”
At Base Camp Alpha (BCA), our mission extends beyond the hunt. Through our seasonal cabin retreats and weekend stays, we offer a place of peace, reflection, and reconnection for veterans and first responders—many of whom have spent years putting others before themselves.
Each stay is an opportunity to reset: whether it’s hiking woodland trails, picking wildflowers with loved ones, or simply sitting in silence among the trees. Our eco-therapy approach is designed to quiet the mind and restore the nervous system—surrounded by nature and supported without judgment.
💬 “Beautiful place for Vets & 1st responders to get away with their families for a little bit. Tell your friends—Base Camp Alpha.” – Joe Baesmann
💬 “A wonderful eco-therapy facility… calm, peaceful, and quiet setting with caring, non-judgmental support.” – Leo Perrin
These moments—small to some, life-changing to others—are what Base Camp Alpha was built for. We are honored to host those who have served, and to offer a refuge where healing truly begins.
We look forward to welcoming many more veterans, first responders, and their families in the seasons ahead.

Base Camp Alpha & The Fallen Outdoors
Base Camp Alpha (BCA) is proud to continue its collaboration with The Fallen Outdoors (TFO), an organization dedicated to providing outdoor experiences for veterans. For the past three years, BCA has hosted TFO for our annual deer hunt, creating a meaningful and successful tradition that aligns with our shared mission of supporting veterans through camaraderie and outdoor experiences.
Each year, this event has provided an opportunity for participants to reconnect with nature, forge lasting bonds, and experience the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors. The success of this partnership is a testament to our mutual commitment to serving the veteran community.
We look forward to many more years of collaboration, ensuring that those who have served our country continue to have access to the restorative power of the wild.
Let's Work.
